Account & Subscriptions

Check your account first, then review the download options, subscription configuration, and device usage.

View account overview →
Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I protect my account details?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. After signing in to the user panel, verify your username and store your login details securely. Use a unique password rather than reusing one from another site. Never post your password, full subscription link, or screenshots containing subscription details in public forums. Not needing an email address doesn’t mean you can neglect account security, and email-based password recovery isn’t a default recovery option. If you can’t sign in, check your input method, letter case, and saved username, then review the support options currently available in the panel. When reporting an issue, describe the error message—never share your password.

How do I update my subscription link? Do I need to import it again?

Sign in to the user panel and check your plan and subscription status. Then open the subscription or configuration management page in your client and update the configuration you’re using. Once the update succeeds, return to the route list and check that the regions and routes have refreshed. Re-import only if the panel provides a new subscription option, the existing configuration won’t update properly, or the client says it’s invalid; follow the panel’s instructions. Don’t repeatedly paste links from unknown sources into an existing configuration. If the panel has updated but the client still shows old content, make sure the active configuration is the one you just updated, not another configuration with the same name. Treat your full subscription link like an account credential.

Do I need to buy another plan when I change devices or use several at once?

There’s no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so changing devices alone doesn’t require another plan. On the new device, sign in to the panel and open the client download page to get the client and subscription details for your platform. Then verify that the account and plan are correct. Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data, so keep an eye on the usage and subscription status shown in the panel. When you stop using an old device, remove any saved account details and configurations. Before handing a device to someone else, sign out and remove the subscription so your credentials aren’t transferred with it.

Where can I get the client, and how do I access my subscription after downloading it?

Download clients from the download section of the user panel; direct installer links aren’t provided on this help page. Sign in to download for Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux. The available iOS download option depends on the active plan status shown in the panel. Downloading the client and accessing a working subscription are separate steps. After installation, sign in to the panel, find your subscription details, and follow the import instructions for your platform. Once imported, check that the configuration is enabled, then choose a region and route type. If the download options don’t look right, first confirm you’re signed in to the original account and check its plan status. Don’t keep trying with other accounts or download substitute installers from unfamiliar sharing pages.

Connections & Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot each step: local network, client routing, then target app.

Check exit IP →
The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?

Disconnect the route first and check whether your local network can open everyday websites. If the local connection itself is having issues, resolve those first. Reconnect, then check whether the client has enabled the system proxy or the network-tunneling method required by your platform, and whether the system is still waiting for permission. Open the target website in a browser and use an IP lookup page to check whether your exit IP has changed. A connected status only means the connection process completed; it doesn’t confirm that websites are reachable. If regular sites work but a particular service doesn’t, note the region, route type, and error message, then test another route. Avoid changing several settings at once so you can identify what made a difference.

Why does my browser work, but an app isn’t using the proxy?

Different apps may use different network paths. If your browser works, first check whether the app has its own proxy settings and whether the client’s current rules send the app or its domain over a direct connection. Then check the system proxy, network access permissions, and the client’s mode instructions. If needed, switch modes as directed and compare. Some apps keep old connections open, so after changing settings, fully quit and reopen the app before checking sign-in and content loading. Don’t assume every app is connected just because the browser works. When reporting the issue, include the app name, operating system, current mode, and the specific step that fails—not a vague description that can’t be reproduced.

What should I do if a subscription update fails or the route list is empty?

First, check your account, plan, and subscription status in the panel. Then confirm the client can reach the subscription update page. Make sure the link was copied in full, has no extra spaces, and belongs to the current account. If you have an existing configuration, keep the details needed to check it rather than deleting everything before you know the cause. You can re-import it using the panel’s instructions and compare the results. An empty list can also mean the configuration isn’t enabled, the import method doesn’t match, or a request is failing on your local network. Check the client’s error message to narrow it down. If you need support, provide the update error and your platform. Redact sensitive parts of the subscription link; never send the full link or your account password.

What information should I gather before submitting a ticket about frequent disconnections?

First, note whether disconnections coincide with sleep, switching networks, quitting the client, or changes to system permissions. Then check whether another network tool is also managing the connection. Record your platform, the client’s message, the affected app, selected region and route type, and the network environment where the issue occurs. Try another route in the same environment, or test a different local network to help distinguish a local connection issue from a route issue. Submit your findings and the steps you’ve tried through the ticket option in the panel. In screenshots, hide sensitive account details and subscription information, leaving only your username visible if needed. Don’t include private browsing history or your password.

Speed & Routes

Choose a region and route type, connect, then test with the tasks you actually need to do.

How should I choose a region? Does coverage mean every service will work?

CPUVPN covers 110+ countries / 170+ routes. The options currently available in the panel and client after you sign in are the definitive list. Before choosing a region, check the target service’s supported regions and account requirements, then select a route that meets them. If the service has no specific region requirements, start by comparing regions that work well for your everyday use. Coverage doesn’t mean every route corresponds to a specific city or that every service accepts every exit. After choosing a region, test sign-in, content loading, and task submission. For services with regional licensing restrictions, follow their rules. A route name doesn’t guarantee eligibility or access to particular features.

What’s the difference between IEPL, relay, and direct routes?

These terms describe different network path arrangements. IEPL refers to a dedicated link, relay routes use an intermediate connection to forward traffic to the exit, and direct routes take a more direct path. The labels can help you filter options, but they don’t by themselves guarantee speed, stability, or access to a particular service. Keep the target region fixed while comparing the route types currently offered in the client. Check page loads, persistent connections, and task submissions, then keep the route that works best in your environment. Available types vary by region; the panel is the source of truth. Don’t assume a route type is tied to one particular region or that a dedicated link can never get congested.

Things slow down during peak hours. Should I switch regions or route types first?

Pause local tasks that use lots of bandwidth, such as large file transfers and cloud sync, and check that your local network isn’t congested. Keep the target region fixed while comparing other routes or route types in the client. This makes it easier to tell whether the route, rather than the region, is causing the difference. If the service allows it, try another eligible region afterward. Use the same app and a similar task for each test; don’t confuse changes in video quality, app cache, and route with one another. Peak-hour performance depends on your local connection, cross-border paths, and the target service’s load. A route label can’t guarantee performance in every condition. If the problem continues, note when it occurs and the results of your comparisons, then submit a ticket.

If a streaming service or AI tool won’t open, does that mean the route isn’t connected?

Not necessarily. First, check the network path using a regular website and an exit IP lookup, then review the target service’s error message. Streaming services and AI tools may also depend on supported regions, account status, content licensing, browser cache, and the service’s own security checks. A working network connection doesn’t replace these requirements. Once you’ve confirmed the exit region meets the service’s requirements, restart the app or test in a separate browser session. Check whether the problem occurs at sign-in, playback, upload, or when a task returns a result. Avoid repeatedly switching regions and retrying sign-in, which can make the issue harder to diagnose. Verify a route’s suitability through current testing and the service’s rules; don’t infer that it will work just from the region name.

Billing & Refunds

Check the amount, data, and order status separately. Confirm details in the panel rather than relying on estimates.

How much do monthly plans and data packages cost, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Monthly data resets each month on your activation date, not on the first of the calendar month. Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. They don’t expire and remain available until used. Consider whether you’ll use the service regularly, then compare plans based on your actual data needs. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. The two billing options have different data rules, so check the plan type shown in the panel before reviewing your remaining data and status. Compare the full prices on the plans page before ordering so you don’t overlook how each option is billed.

How is the price difference handled if I upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle?

When you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Before changing plans, check your current plan and status in the panel, then open the plans page to review the available options and the change shown on the confirmation screen. Don’t add prices or data allowances from different plans together, or estimate the new expiration date yourself. If the confirmation doesn’t match what you expect, keep your current plan and check with support through a ticket before proceeding. After the change, return to your account overview to verify the plan details, then update your client subscription. This upgrade rule applies to monthly plans; it doesn’t imply that data packages can be converted or combined in the same way.

What payment methods are supported? What if my plan status doesn’t change after payment?

We accept Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Before paying, open the plans and checkout flow from your signed-in panel and verify the amount, billing method, and payment instructions shown on the page. After payment, return to the panel to check the order status. Don’t assume your plan is active just because the payment page has closed. If your payment record and panel status don’t match, first make sure you’re signed in to the account used for the order. Keep the order ID, payment status, and relevant proof, then explain the issue in a support ticket. Redact any unnecessary personal information from payment proof. Don’t submit the same order repeatedly just because the status hasn’t updated, and don’t pay through a payment address that isn’t shown in the panel. Any follow-up depends on the order review.

How do I request a refund, and what information should I include?

CPUVPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. Before applying, read the refund policy, sign in to the account used for payment, and submit your request through the ticket option in the panel. Include the order ID and current order status so the request can be matched to the right order. You don’t need to cite a connection issue to request a no-questions-asked refund. If you also need technical support, describe the issue separately. Don’t share your account password, full subscription link, or unrelated personal information. Track your request through the ticket and order details. Eligibility is subject to the full refund policy; this page makes no additional promises about processing times, refund methods, or compensation not listed there.
